Frequently Asked Questions About Funding
What if I can’t afford the full cost of mentoring?
We understand that cost can be a barrier to accessing support. Please contact us to discuss your situation as we may be able to offer reduced rates in certain circumstances or help you explore funding options you might not have considered.
How long does it take to secure funding through Access to Work?
The Access to Work application process typically takes 2-6 weeks to complete. We can help guide you through this process and may be able to begin mentoring sessions while your application is being processed, depending on your circumstances.
Can I include mentoring in an EHCP if my child already has one?
Yes, mentoring can be added to an existing EHCP during the annual review process or through an early review if needed. We can provide supporting documentation to help make the case for including our services as educational provision in Section F of the plan.
What information do schools or employers need to fund mentoring?
We provide a comprehensive service proposal that outlines the mentoring programme, expected outcomes, and cost structure. For schools, we can demonstrate how our services align with SEND provision requirements. For employers, we emphasize the benefits for workplace inclusion and employee wellbeing.
Do you offer payment plans for self-funding clients?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options for self-funding clients, including monthly payment plans. We aim to make our services as accessible as possible and are happy to discuss a payment structure that works for your situation.
