Who We Support

For Children: Building Confidence Through Connection

Being neurodivergent in a world that doesn’t always understand can feel tough, but your child doesn’t have to navigate it alone. Our mentors create a safe, supportive space where they can:

  • Process their diagnosis in a way that makes sense to them
  • Build confidence through interest-based sessions that focus on joy and connection
  • Reduce anxiety by developing self-understanding and coping strategies
  • Get gentle support with school avoidance (EBSA) without pressure or shame

Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported, just as they are. Let’s help them thrive.

For Teens: Finding Your Path

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed by options, or unsure about the future, you’re not alone. Our mentors help you:

  • Break down choices and explore career or education paths that fit who you are
  • Discover your strengths and interests, beyond what school tells you
  • Navigate alternative routes like apprenticeships, vocational training, or self-employment
  • Develop self-advocacy and life skills so you feel confident making decisions

School isn’t the only path: let’s find what works for you.

For Young Adults (18+): Building a Future That Fits You

Stepping into adulthood is a big change, especially when the world isn’t built with neurodivergence in mind. Whether you’re looking for work, considering self-employment, or feeling lost in the process, we can help you:

  • Explore careers that align with your strengths and working style
  • Navigate job searching, from writing a CV to preparing for interviews
  • Get workplace support, including adjustments and self-advocacy tips
  • Find alternative paths if college or traditional employment doesn’t feel right

Your future doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Let’s build one that fits you.

Support for Parents & Carers

  • Understand how to best support your child through life’s transitions
  • Learn practical strategies to guide them without overwhelming them
  • Feel reassured that you’re not alone in this journey

Every child and young person deserves to be valued and supported in education, employment, and in their lives. Let’s help them thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you only work online?

Yes, our mentoring sessions are currently offered online to ensure accessibility for all participants across different locations. This format allows for flexible scheduling and the ability to connect with the best mentors available, regardless of geographical boundaries.

Will you pair mentors with children/young people?

Absolutely. Our programme carefully matches mentors with children and young people based on shared interests, goals, and the specific needs of the mentee to ensure a productive and supportive relationship. Consideration will also be given to ensure that the requested time slot is matched with available mentors.

What distinguishes mentoring from coaching, counselling, and therapy?

Mentoring focuses on guidance and support for personal and professional growth, while coaching is typically goal-oriented and performance-based. Counselling and therapy, on the other hand, deal with emotional and psychological issues, often looking to resolve deeper personal or mental health problems.

What is the cost of each session?

For clients paying privately: £44 per hour or £22 for 30 minutes. Min 1 session per week.
Please contact us for a quote if funding is through a local authority, school, or organisation.

Is there a minimum commitment period for the mentoring sessions?

No fixed commitment is required. We recommend at least a few months to see measurable progress, but families are free to decide the duration that best suits their needs.

Is this service compatible with an EOTAS package?

Yes, our mentoring can complement an Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) package, providing additional support tailored to the educational needs and personal interests of your child.

Still Have Questions?

We understand that starting mentoring is a big decision. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss your specific situation, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Testimonials

“Before mentoring, I felt completely lost. I didn’t know where to begin with career planning or how to manage my anxiety. My mentor didn’t just listen—she got it. Sessions felt safe, honest, and really practical. I now feel more confident in who I am and what I want. It’s made such a difference.”

“This was the first time I didn’t feel broken. I’ve always masked to fit in, even around professionals. But with Inclusive Outsource, I felt accepted as I am. My mentor helped me explore my autistic identity in a way that made sense and gave me tools to navigate life in my own way.”
